Summer is here!

Some people I've seen saturdaynight and Mareike, reading at home last sunday night.

After the bachelor party

After the bachelorparty my friend H. woke up on the doormat of our hostel with a broken foot, by the slightly annoying clicking sound of cycling shoes. A true story I had to put on paper...

Top 10 Berlin

I was asked by the website top10berlin to make a postcard advertising for their app. The first sketch was immediately approved and I quickly went on to the final version, only to find out what they were looking for was the sketch as it was, just with a few spots of color here and there... which turned out better then the first final.

Swiss Alps

I was working as a cowhand in Switzerland for a week, but found time to make a few sketches too.

Athletes galore

I was asked to design and illustratie an advertisement for GlückSpirale, a German lottery. They fund a lot of sport related projects. They wanted an illustration with many details, as many deferent sports as possible, and apart from that quite a large amount of information too. I started out by drawing a bunch of athletes to have something to start building with.

Than a general layout. There were going to be 5 illustrated information boxes and an infographic.

I tried to bring some order in the chaos. We decided to let the athletes not touch each other, because it looks like a battlefield that way. Still, I felt like the information boxes and other illustration did not work together very well. I placed the main information in the middle, and the athletes as a frame on both sides. Much better!

And in print it looks like this:

Sitting Duck

Made this drawing as a present for my mom. She and this duck became good friends, but the kitchen is off-limits now...

Future World Champion

Made a drawing of Hassan Necibov, a talented boxer from Berlin. A future champion for sure!
