50's advertisement

The cool people at Lebensbaum asked me to paint a few advertisements for some of their new teas.
First I mede some thumbnail sketches.

Then preliminary drawings:

The question was weather we could show the cigaret and the whiskey. We tried changing the whiskey bottle for an old fashioned soda shaker. The thing is, lot's of people don't know such things anymore. The legal department decided that showing the whiskey bottle was ok, but the cigaret had to go. Instead I had to make the ashtray more recognizable, not one of those fancy 50's design thingies.

I added the detox tea and the first advertisement was finished. 3 to go!
